Diplomat HJA8630 Dishwasher – No Heat

Hello, please can I have some advice. Our Diplomat HJA8630 dishwasher is not producing any heat during its cycles, so we can only have cold water washes. It is failing to heat any water at all irrespective of which cycle we select. Is this likely to be the failure of the heater element or is there anything that I can check first or even repair myself. If this isn’t a self repair is it more economical to simply replace the dishwasher with a new dishwasher or is it economical to call someone out to repair it?

Could be heater, dry joint on pcb, broken wire in door or pcb fault. All cheap fixes really even if you get someone in.
