i was looking for some advice as it is integrated and dont want to go pulling it out if its the pcb,
i checked the connect site and they list no parts available for this model,
    thanks.

i dont like to apperar daft but what is a flowmeter?

It’s a magnet stuck to a watermill blade about 3cm dia., housed in a round plastic cover with a reed switch stuck on the side. 😆
Beko have one that costs £3.50 from Connect 1729900100, but whether that’s the one you need I don’t know. The reed switch is the bit that most commonly fails and you will probably find out all about that if you do a search in these forums.

Mike is correct, the flow meter for this model is 1729900100, not saying that is what is needed though. I did repair a few of these in MFI days but only ever had blocked pumps and a couple of heater failures.

I had a Beko doing similar things, can’t remember exactly, which is why I have that flowmeter in stock. Turned out to be the board which was only about £25 retail IIRC.

Flowmeter works on 5 volts, 3 connections: 1 +5v, 1 Negative usually centre terminal & 5v pulsed output.
Check first for 5v supply & negative, then meter across output wire & negative, with water flowing through the Flowmeter you should see a regular stream of ON/OFF pulses at 5v, this is much easier to see on a good Analogue meter. 8)

If you want to see the On/off pulses better on a Digital meter you can turn the incoming water pressure down a bit. Good luck mate.

    Re: diplomat HJA8630 dishwasher

Andy, ‘scuse my ignorance but how do you attach your meter leads to those wires/connectors whilst leaving them in circuit? You must have a connection system I don’t have? What do I need and where can I get/how do I make one?

Hi Mike: No ignorance involved mate, we all have different ways of doing things. Usually with connectors of this type I use AVO ultra fine electronics probes or a colleague uses thin stainless steel pins pushed into the rear of the connector & attaches the croc clips from his meter to these.
