Diplomat Hob spark issue

Diplomat Hob spark problems, my hob sparks okay and I have cleaned everything possible on the burner but 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time the gas will take some time before igniting and sometimes it will not ignite at all. I can see the spark but I am not sure if it is strong enough to ignite the gas, anybody heard of this sort of issues?

when the flame is lit does it look like its burning ok ?

Hi Dave, the flames look okay, even blue flame across the burner

check the burner head for blocked pathways

check the electrodes for and contamination that may cause the spark to jump the wrong way

after that any other problem would mean taking it apart and that’s a gas safe engineers job
