Is this a Moben Kitchens dishwasher?
Not sure what your problem is but all dishwashers when they start a programme DRAIN FIRST (not fill) so possibly your problem is an ANTI FLOOD DEVICE problem? In other words the water level system is interupted by a blockage or leak?
Not familiar with the model number to help further…sorry!

Hi John, this is an error which occurs occasionally with these models. The PCB needs to be reconfigured to recognise which type of pressure system it has fitted. Generally no parts are required to rectify this, but you will need an engineer with the relevent information supplied by MFI to sort it out for you.
Please put you’re postal code area and I’m sure someone here will be be able to assist further should you decide to call an engineer.
Hope this helps.
Dave.

Not sure if this helps but, I had a ADP8224 flashing fault code E2 recently.
I found the side chamber was blocked completely (The hose that leads to the sump from it also blocked) I took the side chamber off (Very easy) & cleaned it the best I could & hey presto, problem sortedRegards

KeymasterYeah Toni it often is the side chamber and the bottle brushes IKEA do are excellent for cleaning them out, as are some of the baby bottle ones. 😉
But if they are badly blocked it’s sometimes better just to change the chamber but I can’t remember if that one needs a kit or not.

OK. First off I don’t know offhand what the error code is, I normally have to call technical for that. From memory my guess is, safety stat has tripped. Located beside the heater. Some have a reset button, some don’t. If no reset button, gently prise the cover off and press down on the centre of the contacts to reset.
The blockage in the sump/airbrake line normally gives 1 and 5 flashing, the actual fault for this code is anti flood device activated.
Is the appliance brand new? or has it been working for some time?
If not new then there may be a blockage in the pressure system somewhere, turning down the water inlet pressure may work as the water will have more time to pass the blockage before activating the overfill. You should also note that these machines have to fill within a certain time or you get another error up.
If it’s brand new, check that the drain is high enough or you’ll be losing water as quick as it fills. Other thing to check is under the sink, has the spigot still got it’s plug in?
Resetting the pcb is quite easy. Sadly, although I can remember how to get it into diagnostic mode, I can’t remember how to get it out again. I’ll try and remember to ask next time I speak to technical.
Hope this is of some help to someone.January 28, 2004 at 4:11 pm #108531jcb208

Toni,
we saw your message posted recently about the dishwasher ADP8224 and your E2 error code. Has the problem recurred? Do you know a number for Diplomat Customer Care? How do we get to that side chamber you mentioned, to clean it out? The instruction book we have says that error code E2 is not used on model ADP8224 but it is coming up all the time on our machine and now it stops about 5 min into the cycle and won’t go any further.
