stupd design this leaking from back half wer big clip goes round, its was loose tightend it up now worse, wats involed to sort this looks a nightmare job? help ta

If its the same design as the servis old machines then undo clamp and use three molegrips. Starting at the 6 oclock position put one molegrip and then the other two at three oclock and 9 oclock. This will allow you to tighten the bolt alot more!!!

If this dosen’t work change the tub gasket and tighten as above.

And smear it with fairy liquid so it doesn’t grab anywhere 😉 .

model number would help….
if its the merloni type it has to be one of the easiest backplate jobs going.

its the servis type. dont you to take al parts off ie dryer blower stuff looks a mare o job 😳

Easy job, backplate and inner drum change about an hour including taking machine out and putting it back again, definately use molegrips and tighten pulley wheel onto inner drum shaft before doing up clamp as well 🙂
