    Can anyone help please with a replacement element for a Diplomat oven model code E60SM/ALGV500TE-A. The parts suppliers I have contacted do not recognise this model reference??

    You need to check the model number.

    If it is a Diplomat it should have a number eg starting with APP, ADP or APM. Followed by four numbers.

    The model code I have given was on a plate just at the bottom of the oven inside the door. Are you saying there is another code somewhere else??

    Yes if it is a diplomat then it should have a sticker on the top, or the back of the oven.

    You will have to remove the oven to check.

    If not the you will need to check on the element to see the wattage stamped on the element and if it is a two or three turn element.
