Diplomat Oven making heavy whirring noise when running

When i turn on my oven it comes on with a heavy whirring noise. The fan appears to be turning ok, but we have this terrible racket every time we use the oven now.

Its only about 8 years old, but we have always had a lot of hot air coming out of the top of the door i guess this is normal (it needs an escape route i’d imagine).

The model number is: 3301 although it says its a hygena make (and it says diplomat on the door).

If you could help that would be great. I don’t want to be replacing the whole thing really.

It will be one of the fan motors by the sound of it.

Neither are too costly or difficult to replace for an engineer.

Check repairs@ for an engineer in your area.

Many thanks i’ll have a look at that straight away. Is it possible to do by oneself or will i definitely need an engineer to fix it?
