    Hi,

I recently moved into a house and have a Diplomat oven installed in there. Very helpfully all the symobols have been rubbed off the front of the oven…in fact all text has been rubbed off! So I’m not even too sure of the model number. I can see from the instruction booklet it’s either an ADP3611/3622/3633/3640. I have worked out the temperature gauge and which is the fan oven setting but I have no idea what the other settings are on the dial! I’ve tried in vain to find a picture clear enough on the internet but cannot. Does anyone have a clear picture of the dial symbols? Or could just tell me what each movement on the dial means?

    Thanks!

a lot of diplomat ovens have the model number on amother label on the top of the oven
undo the screws that hold the oven in and slide it out 6 inches most of the time you will then find carroect model
be aware if you pull it out too far oven will tilt forward so get help if oven high off floor

once you get correct model we can see if panel is still available

count how many positions there are on the main switch to get an idea of how many options you have
    poss answers
grill :: may be 2 positions for grill half and full. thermostat has to be turned up to make grill come on
fan oven :: you have already found this
light :: some oven have a light only postion normally the first click clockwise
defrost oven fan running no heat

    more complex ovens also have
convection oven ( top and bottom elements)
lower element only ( under floor of oven)
    top element only

you instruction book will help with this

    hope it helps

    Dave
