I have a problem with my Diplomat Sel 710 double electric oven. Firstly the electric tripped off on the cooker. When i switched it back on i found that both the botton and top oven weren’t heating properly with the top heating to 170 and the the bottom to 50 as the thermostatic indicator lights would only go off at these temperatures. The bottom oven element was only replaced last year. Anyone any idea what’s gone on? The serial number is ADP4520

To be honest it sounds like the main oven fan element might have blown again – part number 524021800 available from Dave in Spares (email spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk ).
As for the heating issue with the top oven there is a modification kit available for that model to improve heating performance. It’s not cheap though at around £130 exc. delivery.
