Well I must say this is the first forum I have been on where people actually help you.

I have allready asked a few questions testing the water, but I may as well tell the whole story.

Basically in a kitchen that i fitted there was a Diplomat Integrated dishwasheradp8322, however the customers informed me that the door would not fit any more and the worktop was damaged, when i went to look at it, the wooden door fastened on the front was all swollen up, also neighbouring carcases were all swollen up and the worktop covering was all peeling off (this was covered with foil by the way), it seemed to me that hot steam was leaking out of the dishwasher and had caused the damage, the seal on the dishwasher door is not continuous and has gaps at both top corners surely this is not right, if anybody has had a similar experience or could shed any light on this problem then i would be grateful if you could let me know..

    Cheers again

    Re: Diplomat Problems

We do a lot of Diplomat dishwashers, Acestu, and this is difnately not a common problem. There are 2 door seals, one that fits around ‘goalpost’ style and a thin one under the bottom of the door that you may not be able to see. You said there is no deal in the corners, do you mean the top corners (wrong) or the bottome corners (correct).

    Re: Diplomat Problems

    Thankx for your reply eastlmark,

Basically ther is a large grey seal just inside the door, however at each top corner there is a half an inch gap but the seal carries on along the top, now to me this makes it dissfunctional as a seal so i can only suppose that it is a shock absorber or similar, but this would not contain any steam etc, would be grateful to hear your thoughts….

    thanks
