Diplomat select 110 AHY4310 / 13

tricky one (for me) this, grill element does not come on.
Element fine, TOC at rear ok the top stat that is wired to the tangential fan ok.
Selector switch looks ok and grill thermostat meters ok.
Half the grill element does come on if I select the top oven.
anyone familiar with this appliance? . . .

It’s not one of those ovens where you have to turn the oven thermostat on as well as the grill regulator is it? I’ve been caught out by that before now on Bernstein ovens, I think it was, where the customer complained of no grill operation, and on tracing the circuit through found the oven stat in series with the grill regulator and element.

thanks for the email kwatt. Went back today think the grill regulator is faulty, anyone know the part no. to this? where do you lot order your diplomat/ hygena spares from?, I only use Qualtex and masterpart and both are lacking for hygens parts.

OROTCTLA is the part number, don’t ask as I may be forced to explain it. 😉

Should be available from Masterpart just fine but, if you do have a problem, Dave should be able to get you one.
