    My son recently bought an apartment where a Diplomat Select 600 oven and grill was already fitted. A few days ago the oven went off during cooking and he found that the grill was inoperative too. He switched the oven on again the following day and it heated up initially but then went off again. This now happens every time he tries to use it.

    This is a DIPLOMAT SELECT 600 APPLIANCE
    MODEL NUMBER AHY3200
    SERIAL NUMBER 00377431

    Can anyone please identify the probable cause of the problem, the part that will be required to rectify the fault, whether or not this can be fixed by the owner or, failing which, the approximate cost of professional repair.
