Diplomat Select 610 problems

Hi

My Diplomat Select 610 oven & grill has suddenly stopped working (the hobs still work fine). It’s about 7 years old. Earlier today I turned it on and it was fine. Turned it off and then turned it on again shortly after and it won’t come on. I’ve tried all the dials to make sure I hadn’t accidentally put it onto the timer function by mistake, but no, it seems to have just stopped working.

Does anyone have any ideas if this is likely to be worth getting repaired? Do Diplomat do service calls? I’m reluctant to buy a new oven as this is built into the kitchen and so will not be so easy to replace – a new oven would need to be the exact same size.

Could well be a fault in the timer. New timers can be expensive but if you don’t use it anyway (like most people) you could get it bypassed. Try the repairs@ facility to find someone local who could do this. If not the timer it could be a faulty oven selector switch or a thermal overload cutout. Either way it should prove a cost effective repair.
