Diplomat select 620 oven door seal- help!

Hi,
I know you probably can’t help if I don’t post the serial numbers and make numbers but I’m looking for a replacement door seal for the Diplomat Select 620 single electric oven. I cannot find the plate with the make numbers on, I suspect it is on the back but the oven in built into a kitchen unit and I can’t get into it. Is it likely that most seals will fit this model? The seal has corner clips, looks to be a very old make. Any sugestions as how I may be able to go about finding a spare seal?

620 is a generic – model number required. Check user book, failing that it’s on the roof of the oven box.

but I don’t have the booklet. The oven came with the flat I moved into. I cant see any numbers on the roof inside the oven, and the kitchen surfaces are fitted all over the oven. If I can’t get a specific do you know if there are universal type seals which may be cut to fit or something? I still have the clips, its the rubber that split.

Undo the security screw around the edge of the casing, pull oven forwards; the model numbers are on a lablel on the top. It’s worth the effort as spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to source the correct seal for you easily.

Additionally, the “make it yourself seal kits are very rarely satisfactory.
