Please can you help us? After several years of reliable service our oven has developed a fault. Some times we come home and find the timer display flashing and can not reset it. It goes directly to Auto and can not be set back to manual. Sometimes if we leave it for a day or switch it off we can reset it but this time it seems stuck. We do not want to replace it at the moment because we are having a new kitchen in the summer. Can it be repaired???? It is a Diplomat Select 620. Model number is APL 3401

The clock will default to auto on power up to prevent operation (safety standards). Being an MFI product it will be virtually impossible to source a replacement clock which is where the fault is likely to be.

The good news is that an engineer should be able to bypass the clock so the appliance works as normal.

    Many thanks for the advice.
