Diplomat Select 710 (ADP4504) – Terminal Block Cover Melted!

Hi,

I have inherited in the house I am in a Diplomat Select 710 Oven. Have jsut gone to use the oven and there was a smell of burning followed by the main fuse blowing.

Investigation has shown that the terminal block cover at the rear of teh appliance has melted – and by the looks of it this has not just happend, but may have been happening for quite a while or at least has happened in the past.

As yet do not know the cause of the heating, suspect poor wiring/contacts, but I do know that I will (from looking at the damage) have to replace both the terminal block itself and the cover. Can you advise the list of parts and where I can obtain them and the give a guide as to how easy a job it is to replace.

The terminal connection box comes as one part, part number is 281114900 at £12.00 inc VAT and carriage.
