We acquired our dishwasher when we bought our house 7 years ago and it has worked perfectly until last week, when I used a dishwasher cleaning product on the intensive setting. Before the cycle finished the machine stopped and an alarm beeped 5 times very quickly. I opened the door and could see that there was no water inside but the light on the far left was flashing and the first light (intensive) was alight also. I checked the manual and it tells me that this is an E1 fault code and that the dishwasher’s anti-flooding system has been activated (if fitted to this model) and it is triggered by a water leak.

After reading other posts on this forum I removed the decorative door and looked underneath the machine to remove the inspection cover so that I can dry any water and re-set the acquastop device. Problem is, there is no visible inspection cover with either clips or screws to remove! I can’t find any info online about this dishwasher.

What I would like to know is whether this model (ADP8912) has an overflow device and, if so, how can I access it to check out the leak and resolve this fault? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
