    Hi there,

this is my 1st post, I’ve looked through the search function as suggested, but can’t find the exact same problem.

I have the above dishwasher which won’t go through a full cycle. It seems to start ok but doesn’t seem to drain. When I open the door there is hot water in the bottom & the lights are showing as follows:-
reading left to right, the 3rd light is on & the 5th light is flashing.
The machine also won’t stop when you open the door mid cycle now, it gives a sharp crack sound, instead of the usual dull thud.
    Any ideas??

    Thanks.

    Hi,

That’s not actually a model number, any Diplomat model will be APL, APM or something like that followed by four digits. We need that to help you.

Ah sorry, used the wrong number!

    It’s ADP 8132

    Thanks.

It’s a Smeg made dishwasher and it should be these fault codes that are used on it but what you describe isn’t listed because it’s as if it’s stuck in a test cycle with the regeneration valve energised.

To clear it power it off at the mains and restart.

If it does it again you’re better off getting one of the guys to try to clear it as it’s either the regen valve or the PCB that’s likely the issue.
