An interest discovery I feel I should share… 🙂
My Diplomat ADP8332 dishwasher was displaying the F7 ‘flow error’. I checked it out and after removing left hand panel accessed the flow meter (videos can be found on youtube).
I pulled out the ‘reed sensor PCB’, carefully cleaned it using soft cloth and replaced, cleared the error and power off/on, then the machine worked OK. After a few washes however this error started again. I decided I needed a new flow meter. This is when the fun starts!
Apparently you cannot buy the ‘reed sensor’ for the Diplomat, however you can buy the whole flow chamber complete with meter – prices vary online between £40 and £80 – this appears to be a fairly generic item used in various different makes.
HOWEVER I found the ‘Beko Flow Meter PCB’, although a different colour and numbered differently it otherwise looks the same.
I ordered one at JUST £6.75 (from espares), and hey presto its the same component with a different part number!… and yes it works… !
Happy days… 😀
