Dishwasher Bosch Exxcel

FD: 8501 001508It did not complete a short wash after 4 hours.
At the start, the time remaining showed as 37 minutes
After 15 minutes’ running it showed 35 minutes remaining
After 45 minutes’ running it showed 33 minutes remaining
I opened it (without switching off) and found that the load was wet and cold. A motor kept running while the door was open. The detergent compartment was still shut.On another test I left it for a long time (2 hours +).
The time remaining was still counting down very slowly.
A motor was running, then every 7 minutes or so it expelled some water down the drain
I opened the door as above. When I shut it the time remaining had increased by about 20 minutes.I should be very grateful for help or advice

Number of things to check, the base tray is flooded for starters. Power off, top off, sides off and get in there to see what needs to be done. Or call in a local expert to sort it for you. 💡

Many thanks, Martin. I cleared the base tray and also checked that the red float was working. The machine is now working.
I guess I shall have to look out for leaks if it happens again
