Dishwasher door spring broken

Hello, our Brandt disch washer door-spring broke and therefore the operating of the door is a bit challenging…how to replace the faulty spring?

Got a model number? Should be on the edge of the door.

Usual failure is the “strings” rather than the actual springs – you can see them HERE.

Fitting would involve removing the side panels from the machine – with the power off, of course.

Penguin45. Thanks for responding Penguin45…We live in France so perhaps our Brandt is a very domestic appliance…Here is what is on the edge of the machine: LIA 407V/C Type 3.E1.250113220100.. Thank. Rudi
