ParticipantHi gang,
I’ve checked the forums and the instruction manual for assistance with this – no specific answers so far – is anyone able to anyone assist ?
Above dishwasher, flashing lights:
– On/Off button
– Wash light
– End light
Cycle starts OK – pumps out, refills, pumps out again, then stops and returns the above flashing lights.
Any help very gratefully received – thank you in advance!

ParticipantDave, thanks very much – that’s very helpful. Looks like it should be straightforward to resolve.
Of interest – where did you get the image? It’s not in the owners manual and I’ve looked online and not found that image.
Thanks again – it’s really appreciated.
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks Dave – I admire your hacking skills!
Cheers again for the help – will check out the pressure switch todayApril 25, 2020 at 9:20 am #468240electrofix
Moderatorcheck the tubes going to it as it could be a blockage
dont whatever you do blow into the switch. These later switches get damaged if you do that. you can blow into the tube attached to it to check that as long as you take it off the switch end

ParticipantThanks for the tip – will check it out.
I guess it’s a case of tip the DW onto it’s back, pop open the access panel on the bottom, pull off the hose to the pressure switch, check the switch and hose and clean or replace as required. Is it possible to check the switch operation with a continuity tester? I expect it should be open circuit if the DW is empty.
Appreciate your help – thank you.April 25, 2020 at 9:58 am #468242electrofix
Moderatornot that kind of switch m8. its a digital switch with a variable reluctor.. sounds complicated but it means multimeters wont test them
dont turn unit on its back unless your sure no water can go anywhere. I normally tilt it back 45 degrees and work on them there

ParticipantForgot to close this one out – I did as Dave said – tipped it back and disconnected the hose from the switch, then blew back though it with a bike pump connected to one of my daughter’s reuseable metal straws to get the access I needed. Worked brilliantly – sorted – thank you!
