So back in October I moved in to my house and splashed out on an ISE 1607W washing machine and the CD601W dryer.

So far I’m pretty satisfied. The machines certainly seem well-built and wash performance is excellent. (The dryer is good, only problem is with double duvet covers which tend to get a bit tangled).

Anyway, I am about to get my kitchen done and this includes buying a dishwasher. I see that ISE have recently launched their own dishwasher which of course I am interested in.

As I guess this is a new product, just wondering if anyone has any experience using this dishwasher? Any issues/points to note? Is it also made by Asko to the same standard as the washer and dryer?

Again it’s an expensive purchase but if I can have some assurance it will be as good as the washing machine I’ll seriously consider budgeting for it.

    Hi tjunction,

All I can tell you is that, yes, it is extremely good as I’ve had a previous version that was a pre-production model, in my own home for going on two years now. It is an outstanding dishwasher quite simply.

Although I know my opinion could well be considered biased. 😉

It is made by Asko in Sweden, yes.

The build quality is superb as you would expect.

Performance is light years ahead of the previous Smeg and F&P Dishdrawer that it replaced.

You’d hardly know it was on when it’s running.

    It’s desperately simple to use.

The quality of the baskets is astounding.

My only criticism, if you can call it that, is that most of the programs take about two hours but, when you see the results… well, you don’t bother as it just works, works well and keeps on working.

The D243 is the new version which was only released a few months ago and the Swedes have managed to improve the basket design, some of it is just sheer genius and make some other nice changes.

    HTH

    K.
