Just wondered if any one else has had dishwashers leaking from the door due to Finish 4 in 1 tablets foaming up so much it comes out of the door.
We live in devon where the water is very soft,the salt etc in the tablets is just too much.I have had 5 cases of this now,it took ages to find the fault first time as in the house i kept testing without detergent,when i took it back to the workshop still not a drip after 6 washes.Returned to customer with no fault found.Next time they used it, it leaked again so i went straight to the house and spotted the fault,i asked the customer if they had used washing up liquid.After trying another make of tablets all was fine.Re: dishwasher leak due to Finish 4 in 1 tablets!
A very well docmented problem, more so on certain models. The best advice you can give your customers is to use separate detergent, rinse aid and salt if required, or better still get them to try Fairy Active Bursts, they will notice the difference.
