😀 Hi I’m having a problem with a tricity bendix dh102 dishwasher a few years old when I put it on the water comes in but the motor will not rotate and I can hear it buzzing and it’s getting 230v checked it with the mm I have checked capacitor it was fine but I put another one in nothing either. I have hooked the motor outside the machine and it starts fine even without the cap hooked up too it but when it goes back into the machine it’s trying to rotate but it’s cant for some reason a bit of guidance on this one would much appreciated thank you in advance Gerard

Probably the motor under load as all there should be is the cap and the motor IIRC.

Most likely.
The impeller is possibly spinning on the shaft as well, might turn okay with no load though.
They do that sort of thing to fox you. 😉

Would it be possible to use say an 8uf cap on the motor even tho it says 4uf -2+8{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} on the one that came out of it just for testing purpose as I no it would burn the motor out if it was left on

For a short burst it *may* be okay but dodgy all the same.
Run it extended with that it it will destroy the motor.
