Hi. I’m about to buy my very first dishwasher and I’m a bit bit stuck as to which is the best. I’ve had loads of advice – the main thing being make sure the baskets are adjustable. However, I really don’t know which make/model to get. I’ve not got pots of money but neither do I want to waste it on a rubbish machine simply because it was cheap. Any advice greatly appreciated! What a great idea for a website by the way!!
    Thanks

What has been your advice so far then as to what makes to go for? Adjustable baskets are available on all brands, so which one have you been advised on so far? 🙂

I’ve been told that miele is a good brand but it’s really out of my price bracket. Of course everyone has their own ideas on what they like but mostly I’ve been told bosch and beko are reliable. I’m not sure what models are best though.

Whirlpool and Zanussi are good, Bosch is better.

It also become an uneconomical repair when the pump seal fails and it tiddles water everywhere – usually around the three year mark.

You gets what you pay for…….. £320 gets a reasonable Bosch with a 2 year guarantee, £220 gets an Indesit/Ariston/Servis/Beko. A year from now (usually just after the warranty runs out….), you’ll be back on hear and we’ll all finish up on christian name terms!
