Where can I get a service manual for a hotpoint FDW60.
the drain hose chaffed though on the heater casing and sprayed water inside underneath. It tripped my RCD to the kitchen sockets.
I replaced the hose no problem, RCD is OK now but it now shows fault code flashing leds 3 & 5 and the main pump doesn’t run at all. Filters are clean
I suspect the water sprayed the motor capacitor and the controller board circuit for main pump got damaged . All the other control functions and drain pump work fine. No sign of any damage to the main pump motor .
Hotponts website does not list the FDW60 model for spare, is my machine too youn at 17 months?

You won’t I’m afraid, even we can’t get them 🙁
Fault code 3+5 means exactly as you’ve described, the main pump will not run, that’s it (they are only a guidline).
Power off if checking further please or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂
