dishwasher tablet not dissolving

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me why I am finding the dishwasher tablet laying in the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of the cycle. Obviously things aren,t getting clean. It is getting hot as its warm when opened. (Bosch). Many thanks.

The tablet is not dissolving for one of two reasons….

Firstly the spray arms may be blocked (check that the holes on the rotating arms are clear, if they aren’t then clean them and check the filter in the base is fully in position)

Secondly, and in my experience more likely, the machine is not taking enough water on board because of a partial blockage in the water level control system.

For the second cause you will need an engineer, but it is likely to be a cheap and easy fix 😉

Have a look in Repairs@ for someone local to you…..
