Dishwasher with a hole in it !

Hi iv’e got a customer who has managed to stick a knife through the dishwasher at the back, this is causing a leak that is activating the anti flood protection, is there anything i can use to fill the hole up, would some tape do the job or will the heat make it peel, all suggestions greatly accepted

Depends on how big a hole it is but if was myself doing the repair and the hole is small enough I would use a two part putty that I use in such job.
