ParticipantHi,
I am totally desperate, looking for advice. With the Covid, nobody wants to come home to repair my dishwasher. It is a Siemens SN65E003EU/43.I had a problem with the draining pump which I remove and cleaned. Once I plugged it back in, nothing happen and the dishwasher won’t start. Instead the on/off button just beeps every seconde and the reset doesn’t work either.
I couldn’t find a similar problem anywhere else and I hope I will find my savior here!
Thank you in advance for saving my life. I am an alone mother of 3 and I am at my wits end…April 9, 2020 at 5:23 pm #467830electrofix

ParticipantSmart idea. I checked, there is none. And the noise from the beep is too “loud” to be normal. 🙂

ParticipantAt the bottom of the dishwasher there is a white conical pump. I removed it to clean and then put it back with the gasket. Everything is leakproof since the first intervention.

ParticipantDave, there was element that couldn’t be remove from inside the dishwasher so I had no choice. I always dried the dishwasher before doing the pump removal from bottom. Never flooded near the wire. Not even the floor receive water during any of my trials.

Moderatorthats fine but removing a pump is a mechanical action. its easy to knock things or disturb things
check around the area, remove and replace the wire to the pump and any other connectors that may have been disturbed by pulling wires etc as you removed it
the way you are describing the fault is it was sort of ok before you stripped it
when you removed the pump was there any obstruction ?

ParticipantSure, I will have a closer look and try to see there if any cable has been pulled too much and let you know. Thanks.
