Display and cycles confused. Washer won’t start

My washer recently had a leak while on a shoe cycle. I stopped it and, after a struggle, got the door to unlock and removed the load. The washer seemed to work fine straight after this but then I tried it again today. When I switched it on, the display was flashing and fading, and when it doesn’t the wash cycles don’t seem to be in order (it’s saying a boil wash will only take 16 minutes). All the lights (eco wash, extra rinse etc) are flashing randomly, the door lock is stuck on and if it does start, it pauses the cycle within seconds. It’s an Indesit iwe81281. Hope someone can help! :eeek:

It could be a whole raft of potential failings. From a faulty heater to troubles with the motor. Not to overlook the possibility the main circuit board has issues.

Sorry but no stock answer, all of the above will need checking out. 🙁
