ISE5 mk 2, Vestel produced machine.
Customer says it was fine on last use, no mention of her stopping it before cycle had finished, says she just found it stuck on 0:03 when switched on.
It was just as stated, I tried holding in the Start/Pause/Cancel button but all that happened after a few seconds was the display changed to 0:-n and then flashed back to 0:03.
I did a visual of the whole machine including removing the control PCB but could see no signs of damage.
I pressed every damned button on the machine including the two small black ones at each side of the display window with exactly the same results, display changed to 0:-n then back to 0:03.
I have no idea just what combination of presses I did but after pressing all of the buttons numerous times I pressed and held the Start button again and the darned thing cleared. 😯
I have no idea how I cleared it but it then worked perfectly on all settings.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Yep, not had that I don’t think but it might be worth asking David if he’s come across it being reported.

I have already informed him of my findings via e-mail. Neither he or Nicola mentioned anything in reply.
I do need to return to fit a new pump assembly, the filter seal is badly swollen and getting the filter back is is nigh on impossible and it leaks slightly.
Apparently seal for filter not available as a spare. 🙁

Jumping in on this one as its same model with display issue.
Customer reporting that the display is intermittantly showing the start time and after 10 mins defaults to 1 in the display.
The other timing issue is that it has jumped to 999 then counts down as it would normally.I have checked it over apart from a 10M reading from motor initially after a few minutes the reading was fine and stayed that way.
I tried several programes and as usual could not get to fail.I did get from the customer the use no 4 delicate colours 40 for every thing and liquid and has done so for the last few years nothing changing!! :rolls:
They do the odd 60 but when is mentioned the service wash they looked blank…
I know full well when it was installed all about that as i helped out on the install, so know i would have bored them stupid and kept on about it! 😆I did happen to check the drain hose and found it so far up the waste pipe could have been a syphon or pumping issue,although no fault codes ever come up it was installed there so must have been altered at some point by customer.
I have left it for now and told them to try a few loads with the waste pipe able to breath now, to see if this has been causing a hick up on the timings!The machine washes ok according to customer apart from the fuzzy logic display!
Will wait and see unless anyone has had a similar timing issue and knows different 😉
