ParticipantDoes anyone know if Liebherr make a freestanding fridge freezer with a drinks dispenser built in please?
Could not see any on their website
Are drinks dispensers seen as a good or bad thing?
Many thanks

Hi Yoghurt,
No, as far as I am aware Liebherr don’t do any machine except the side by side model with a drinks dispenser in it.
They can be good and can be bad, it depends on what sort of dispenser that you’re talking about.
If it’s the US type one with filtered water and ice then, yes, they are very good the only thing you have to consider is the cost of the filters as, over the years, that can prove expensive. It’s still a whole lot cheaper than buying filtered water though.
Normally I advise people to add up the cost of the filters before buying a fridge with that sort of water and ice maker in it, most filters that you can buy in the UK are available HERE so you can compare prices. Bear in mind that most people will go through two filters a year.
The dispensers that you find in a fridge to hold juice etc. in the door are, IME, a waste of space! They leak, clog and get really dirty really fast if you’re not religious about cleaning them. My advice would be to avoid them.

Many thanks kwatt, helpful as always.
I was of the same opinion about water coolers but the wife wanted it confirmed! In the end went to the local high street shop and they price matched the internet so have a ordered a Liebherr CUNesf3913 Fridge Freezer for £615.
My main concern was that it is replacing an integrated FF and once this and the 60cm wide housing was removed the door opens to 90 degrees as its next to a wall which sticks out (but before the handle bumps into it).The shop (and John lewis) confirmed it was fine.
Got to start removing it soon as I remember it was a pain to put the housing in and install the integrated FF!Cheers
