I supply new m/c’s.

Have a trade account at currys, and Bennetts. Currys is always cheaper though. Normally reccomend Bosch appliances. I use the currys RRP and add £30-40 for delivery/installation and removal of old appliance. Most customers would use me even if i priced up way over the mark. It seems nobody likes to deal with the retailers themselves!

If the old m/c is going to make a good profit, I repair it and sell it on. If not it goes for scap.

I would estimate from the initial call out to deem the old m/c dead, to leaving after suppliying and installing a new m/c, I make about £100 profit.

If my turnover was getting close to the VAT mark, I would stop selling new m/c’s.
