    …my fridge/freezer doesn’t retain it’s correct temperature.
It’s a 6 year old Liebherr 7082 312-01 frost free fridge freezer. I have moved home 3 times over the past few years, and I am afraid that the fridge freezer may have been roughly handled each time I moved. I have to switch on the supercool/superfreeze several times a day because the thermostat shows temperatures of 12C for the fridge and -14C for thr freezer. I have also had some food spoilage. I was advised to switch off the fridge freezer for 24 hours, and then switch back on, but this didn’t help. I would appreciate any insight into what might be wrong. I am really hoping that it can be fixed as I had expected to keep this fridge freezer for longer than 6 years! Thanks! Sara

    Hi

It could be a sensor problem but if turning off for 24hrs and then restarting hasn’t worked then you will need to bite the bullet and get an engineer in.

    Hi Bryan,
Thanks for your quick reply, it’s much appreciated. Looks like I’m going to have to get the yellow pages out and get someone round to let me know what the damage to my bank balance is going to be….thanks again. Sara

    Hi Bryan,
Thanks for the link- I’ve managed to find four appliance repair shops near where I am- much easier than trawling through the yellow pages! Sara
