Does my hotpoint use Bosch components

I know from random reading that a lot of Bosch dishwashers are havving timers replaced but i am also aware that Hotpoint dishwashers were built by Bosch/used components over the years but does anyone know when

I currently have a Hotpoint Ultima sdw80 and according to the little sticker on the left hand inside of the door it was made in China

So does anyone know if this model of dishwasher may have used the affected part?

Sadly no it doesn’t. The Bosch based Hotpoint dishwasher was of infinitely better construction and quality than the Chinese made,100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit dishwasher that you have. :rolls:

And yep i know its not a well built machine, the old mechanical dial Hotpoint FirstEdition machine my parents have that still prodly says made in Great Britain on the front is infinatly better built

but this was 200quid off RRP so i paid what it was worth (Still think its a joke they put super silent on the front of it though)
