ParticipantHi does Samsung Series 5 washing machines remember your custom cycle settings ie Mixed cycle with 60 degrees setting so when you switch the washing machine on and off, will it still mixed cycle program still be on 60 degrees?
I am looking for a washer that remembers the custom settings, not one that defaults back to default settings.
Thanks

ModeratorI just picked the 11kg WM11BGA046AEEU on the Samsung website at random, it looks like the same manual is for all of them. There is no mention of being able to store a favourite programme.

thanks for the reply, they won’t necessarily mention it in the manual sadly so its something someone has to switch on and test.
I use to have an much older samsung washing machine from 10 years ago but no series tag around £500 but 8kg model and it had the same exact display and menu options, but the key part with that one was it remembered any custom setting ie temp 30 or 60…. so even if you switch it off and then back on the next day and go back to the same cycle it remembers temp 30 or 60 for example. My old samsung manual does not mention this feature either but its there in real life.
So its a hunch of mine that its the same with the series 5 and above and that it should still remember your last preferred setting, I have asked a few others so will update here if I was right or not though.

ModeratorMost electronic machines will remember the last cycle with options you set before you turned it off and it wwill be there when you power up next time. The Ebac washers ( these are another story) and the Hisense washer dryer both advertise the “memory” function I think you are after.
To get everything you want you have to get a smart machine with app.
