Does this evaporator coils look ok?

    Does this evaporator coils look ok, don’t seem excessively frozen to me, although I’m not sure about the icey bits to the bottom. Hopefully this looks pretty normal. CXF6114S is working harder than normal as the fridge compartment is too cold and wont adjust.

    well the problem cant be there anyway. the air around that unit has to be cold enough to freeze to below -18. All looks ok to me. Normally there is a motorised flap inside the fridge that is controlled through the board by a fridge temp sensor. thats the area you want to look

    True thanks Dave, no I am thinking its the fridge sensor, I was just curious whilst I was in the freezer if this was normal. Thanks for confirming. For the fridge problem I’ve lashed this together with a new sensor and the ice at the back of the fridge is finally melting. So time to start digging at the back for the permanent solution I think.
