ParticipantPlease can anyone help me !!! I bought from an auction site a Domena 4000 steam press. On getting it home the steam part didnt seem to be working. The following morning it wouldnt heat up. I found that the fuse had gone. It was ok for one hours ironing. I have just switched it on again and it lit up then went off again !!!! I havent checked the fuse yet but if this is the problem , why would this happen ? I paid £50 for this and had a 4 hr round trip to collect it !!! I have tried to get my money back but the seller has not replied . Sadly I paid cash !!! So Im left with something I cannot use !!! Any ideas please. Many thanks Val

I have got a ARGOS steam press made by HINARI for ARGOS and it was £74.99 1/2 price brand new. It has come down to £69,99 I see http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4100621/Trail/searchtext{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}3ESTEAM+PRESS.htm
The steam function on mine only works when the dial is turned up to COTTON & the Steam Ready Yellow Light is lit. You could try contacting DOMENA via their web site at http://www.domena.co.uk to see what they say, but I think you won’t get much joy. – If you paid by PAYPAL, why don’t you file a Dispute & ask them to do a chargeback transaction against the seller? – Otherwise I am afraid its a case of chalking it down to experience I am afraid. – WQ
