It is so often a temptation to switch on your Dishwasher and go to bed! Switch on your Washing Machine and go out shopping! Anyway, why shouldn’t you switch on and leave these labour saving devices to go and do the chores for you?

999 times out of 1000 that is true, but when something goes wrong and your either fast asleep in bed for 8 hours or so, or at the Shopping Mall (for even longer!), you don’t want to return home to a problem now do you? Fire and flood is a major factor that however rare in their occurence they may be, your machine left unattended can be the source of just such a tragedy.

Machines can and do break down. YOU WERE WARNED!

    A true story!

A customer of mine used to do just this. Switch the machine on before she left for work, washing ready to hang out when she came home.
On this occasion she came home to her ground floor four inches deep in water and the dog loving the paddling pool.
A tube in the washing machine which supplies the water level sensor had sheared off on the previous heavy spin cuasing the machine to fill constantly the next time it was used………for nine hours.
The up-side……she wasn’t living in an upper flat.
USE IT WHILE YOUR’E AROUND. IT’S AUTOMATIC …..NOT INFALLIBLE!
