    I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WF440. The door light stays on, and am unable to open the door. I have sun and drained it a few times now, but the door is still locked. Help much appreciated …..

    Switch it off at the socket. If it unlocks, it’s either still full of water or the computer is having a wobbly.

    ive done that, left it unplugged over night, still locked

    Lock jammed. Time for one of THESE.

    Power off and break it from the inside to release.

    no, you take the lid off put your arm down and break the lock

    or you could try banging the door wher the handle is, see if you can unjam it

    plug out of course
