    Zanussi FX1265W 1200 Auacycle. I press to start a wash and the door interlock clicks twice. I then get 4 beeps and flashes which manual says indicates that the door wont close. I have fitted a new door interlock but this still happens. Any ideas?

    E40 code is door lock related. If you have replaced the lock, it is quite likely the control board has failed, either as a result of an original fault with the lock.
