    Hi,
    our Whirlpool washing machine’s door open light keeps coming on and then stopping the machine mid cycle. I’ve replaced the door catchment mechanism but the problem persists. It was working perfectly as it always has but suddenly this. So there were no warning symptoms that we noticed.
    The machine is probably 11 or 12 years old.
    Any ideas anyone?
