Door question – Ariston Margherita 2000 A1435

My little boy decided to try and open the washing machine while it was still in use. The door handle is now “limp”! It doesn’t appear to have snapped in any way but just doesnt latch onto whatever it should and therefore I cant open the door! 😳

Is it likely I can latch it into place with a bit of force? I’m worried to try incase i break it completely, would I need a complete new door or is the handle fixable?

If the model is an A1435UK then the part you need is an 065250 handle kit, white.

If it is an A1435SUK then you need an 074199 handle kit silver. An e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk is all you need to get things moving.

Rather tricky to refit however.
