Door Seal – AEG Lavamat 6100

I’m looking to replace the door seal on our very faithful AEG [E.Nr 605 648 372].
Before launching ahead I was wondering if there any special aspects to consider with this specific machine.
The replacement part has been exactly identified but it doesn’t come with new tension bands. It wouldn’t be good to damage the old ones in the removal process!
Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

if the bands are not damaged they will normally go back on with no problems
