    Can somebody help.
Whilst cleaning the oven for the missus, I inadvertenly ripped the door seal to the main oven, quite a lot, bottom, side and half of the top have separated, now it being very close to Christmas I need to find a way of doing a temp repair, or bodge, until the new seal that I have ordered arrives in 2 weeks. It is a Zanussi ZDQ995X. I have tried superglue, but of course it didn’t work, so I wondered if a few bits of wire twisted throught the torn parts might work, or is it ok to use the oevn with part of the seal missing.

Mangaed to bodge it with some wire.
The new seal has turned up today, I assume I just loosen the screws on the front plate and ease it in.

Most are just a clip-in type affair paolo and shouldn’t need glue or screws although I’m not familiar with that particular model I’d be surprised if it wasn’t just a clip-in one.
