    Hi,
    Need this door seal but it seems no one has this listed. The original has 418008852 on it but this one is is too big. Can anyone help with a number?

    Whoops! I stuck an extra 8 in my post.
    Suede,I have tried that seal and it’s too big a diameter so stuck on this.

    its quite a common seal its the one for the hoover machine with the dodgy hinge which breaks.

    Thats definitely the correct part number for that model.
    Are you sure the one you’ve got hasn’t been bagged up wrong?

    The new seal has the part no. moulded into it and is a genuine GIAS bagged part. I’m going back with another just in case it’s a bad mould.

    went to fit a door seal to one of these today its also too big i had 2 in the van both bagged one from connect wouldnt fit at least an inch bigger in diameter.
    the other from qualtex fitted ok exact same part numbers.
    there must be a bad batch.

    I thought I had one of these a few weeks ago, sadly it was a senior moment, I was trying to fit the outer lip to the drum. 😯

    It was in a very dark cupboard with no room at all though. 😳

    I wish I could put it down to that Jim but sadly when I compared the old and new it was definitely a larger diameter. 😕
    And suede mine too was from Connect. It’s good to know I’m not alone 😮
