    Anyone know where I can get a frige/freezer door slider kit from, its to be adapted into a custom built unit, so any make or model will do.

    Already kinda answered on another thread. Please don’t start new threads for the same topic as it just confuses.

    You can get them Pad and Dave may even have one knocking about but they’re generally not that cheap. 🙁

    I know it was mentioned I may have one but to be honest I didn’t know there was such a thing that was “universal”.

    I have only ever ordered the correct manufacturers kits in the past for products that were designed to be built in.

    Built in appliances, especially refrigeration have different venting requirements than free-standing so it may not even be advisable to do it in the first place unless you provide extremely good ventilation for it.

    Pop in to your local MFI or similar “built in” appliance store and get me the model of a unit that one is fitted to and I’ll see what I can come up with 😉

    I fitted a mfi kitchen for the in-laws a few years back. The fridge(with slider kit) was a Diplomat, type-hi1521, model-apm6714, serial no-62330240. I’ll be fitting the slider to an absorption fridge in a camper van with all required ventilation at the rear of the fridge.

    Looks good 😀

    Slide and slide guide are £4.40 each inc VAT, plus £4.50 postage.

    I can get them from MFI if required, email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please.
