Nextra W.D. not draining. Customer tells me how he’d already disconnected all the hoses to the pump and checked them, took out the drain hose and made sure it was clear. Struggled with the corbin clips (them spring things) but managed to get them all back on right (to his credit). Stripped the sink trap and cleared it all out.
Really all that was left for me to do was CLEAN THE BL***Y FILTER :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

how many times have you been to a no pump out to someone whos just moved in to a new house to find blue plug in waste outlet. enjoy the easy jobs , its a living !! P

I had a good one this afternoon. Customer replaced brushes on his Hotpoint WM29 himself, cleaned the commutator and lifted the tag on the new brushes but still no motor action.

As I was in his area I agreed to pop in past and check it out for him.
Much to my pleasant surprise the motor plug was not connected and he did wonder if that should be plugged in to the motor :lol:.

To be fair to him he paid up without any problem although he did appear slightly angry with himself :).

About 10 of them every week would be nice 😈

And how prey tell did he think the motor was getting its power? Should someone that dim be touching anything electrical? 😯

Oh Mac, I didn’t want to push him too hard on that question :?.
Funnily enough he made an excellent job of fitting the brushes and the comm. was shining bright.
