Double oven buying advice please! Neff or Aeg or a.n.other?

Hi, I’ve been going around in circles trying to choose a double oven and would really appreciate some advice…

I’m looking for a double built in electric oven. My budget is up to about £750.

I’m a sucker for things that look nice, and like the style of Neff and AEG in stainless steel. However, have read conflicting views about which is better. From my research I seem to be able to find better AEG models for the same price as basic Neff models. Plus the energy efficiency is better.

If I’m honest, I don’t need the all singing all dancing model but I do like the sound of the AEG D81006M which has things like a slow cook option and a child lock, plus seems to score highly in reviews.

Otherwise with Neff I was looking at the U14M62.

Any thoughts?

Also, anyone able to enlighten me about changing product codes… Some of the bigger bargains seem to have same specs but different codes (e.g. AEG D88005M or the Neff U1422N. Are these just older models, or are they ‘grey market’ jobs?
